Today, we are releasing the digital copy of THE ADEPT #1. We are thrilled for you to see what your support and intention has made possible. The way we have been embraced by Kickstarter – from fans to creators, as well as our broader friends and family who might be coming to the platform for the first time - has defined for us what a community can be. From all of us at Immortal, thank you.
Let’s get to it. Over the next few hours, you will receive an email with a link to BackerKit where you can download the digital PDF as well as some of the digital rewards. If you have any questions or trouble, please feel free to reach out.
And in the spirit of a release week, we’ll have a few other announcements coming your way. But in the meantime, give the book a read through. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

Last reminder folks - 48 hours to go until we lock all orders. For those of you who bought additional items from BackerKit (thank you!), your cards will be charged shortly. There will still be time to make any address changes, and I will inform you before we lock those.
BUT - if you haven't completed your survey, please do so. Otherwise, we can't get your name into the credits and we won't have your address to ship your items. ok, last time you'll hear me on that one!

Adepts,
Pencils down, off to the printer! Very happy to report that we have kicked off the print process. Our printer came highly recommended from a few of you in the creator community, and we've had a great process with them so far. There is that persistent news that hiccups remain in post office activity, but we'll manage it as best we can.
Orders for rewards have also been sent out and schedules look great there.
All said, we are looking to have all the items in the Immortal distribution center (read: apartment) by first week in October. It'll take a week or so to sort and prepare shipping. And so we are roughly looking at a third week in October arrival. And then we can't wait to hear from you!
One more VERY IMPORTANT reminder: some of you have not filled out addresses in the BackerKit survey. If this is YOU, please reach out - otherwise we will not be able to fulfill our commitment to you. I will continue to send reminders from BackerKit and over email, so please rescue me from your junk mailboxes.

Backerkit Lock & Mainframe ComicCon

Hello Adepts,
Just updating you on a bit of quick news. First, wanted to give fair notice that our Backerkit order will lock in 48 hours and, if you added on to your order, your credit cards will be charged soon after. There are ~70 of you who have not completed the Backerkit survey which means, most importantly, we don't have your address to ship your items. So, please fill that out if you haven't done so. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
ALSO, the Mainframe ComicCon is happening this weekend and Immortal is appearing on two panels. Peter will be in conversation with Rylend Grant (link) on Rebooting Wuxia and Charlie and Emma will be on a panel discussing Launching on Kickstarter. All events are free. Mainframe is a great upstart virtual con that has put together some very impressive guests in only its second outing. Check out the full schedule below:

Hi all,
BackerKit will begin to send surveys tonight and all of you should have them over the next two days. Be on the lookout! If you don't know, surveys are an extremely important part of helping us fulfill our commitment to you. To meet our October deadlines for print and other items, we'll need you to answer logistic and other questions by August 14th. So please fill them out as soon as possible.
Some of you have asked about add-ons. The survey will take you through our BackerKit store, which is now officially open. Here you can add-on individual items from the campaign - additional copies, variant covers, pins, trading cards, etc. If you have any questions about how it all works, feel free to reach out. Finally, announcing here, the first class of official Immortal T-shirts and Immortal Hats. These are EXCLUSIVE to our campaign backers for now, and won't be visible to anyone who comes in from elsewhere. You'll see the option to purchase them as you complete your survey and pass through the store. The designs are below -- we love them!
